Our Duvets

Supplying a natural filling is part of the goal that Kipli's been working towards. The interiors of our homes have been bombarded for years by impure products and contaminants. At Kipli we are proud to only supply products that are made with the best quality natural materials. In accordance with this ideology, we're happy to be able to offer our customers the Kipli natural duvet made from Tencel and organic cotton.

The three principles that are Kipli's ethos are: sincerity, responsibility and transparency. Kipli is a committed international brand that aims to redesign our cusotmers' home interiors in a way that's healthier for people and good for the planet.

Kipli's duvets are both natural and healthy

The Kipli natural duvet cover is made entirely of organic cotton, a natural material that's soft on the skin. In addition to this, the organic cotton that's used to make our duvets doesn't contain any chemicals or bleaching agents, thus guaranteeing a healthy product.

Oeko-Tex certification attests to the fact that the Kipli natural duvets are free from endocrine disruptors and don't release any VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds). This eco-friendly feature is also very important. By using organic cotton, we are promoting a sustainable material that requires little water for its growth. Coupled with this, we are maintaining the soil's natural balance by avoiding the use of fertilizers or pesticides.

Lyocell filling

In order to create the best possible duvets, we've decided to only use plant-based materials. Unfortunately, nowadays, most duvets are made from animal or chemical products. This is the reason why we've chosen to use Lyocell for the filling in our duvets. Lyocell is a fibre that's derived from eucalyptus pulp. This breathable material offers excellent air circulation and helps to prevent excess sweating at night.  Lyocell also has fantastic thermoregulatory properties.

This special filling ensures that Kipli's natural duvets can adapt to your individual temperature needs all year round. In the absence of any potentially harmful chemicals or synthetic fibres (such as polyester), cellulose fibre is a natural and healthy material. Coupled with this, and in line with responsible consumerism, the Lyocell (Tencel) we use is made from the wood of sustainably managed forests.

Thanks to the use of natural materials such as organic cotton and Lyocell, our natural duvets are, therefore, the best type of duvet for people who have a sensitivity to mites. The breathable properties of these materials inhibit the growth of bacteria and dust mites.

The versatility of natural duvets

Europe is a very diverse region in many ways but there is one aspect that stands out in particular: the varying temperatures in each country. We all love to wrap ourselves up in a soft, warm duvet. However, not every duvet suits every individual. At Kipli, we've designed two different types of duvet which will be more adaptable to where you live and your own personal preferences. You'll no longer have to worry about being too hot or too cold at night!

The Kipli duvet is made with two 250g/m2 layers providing sufficient warmth in a room temperature below 18ºC. It's a warm, light duvet that'll keep you warm in winter or in colder regions during the summer.  These duvets also showcase the natural materials that assist with breathbility. Another of the many pluses with the Kipli duvets is that they'll keep you warm without perspiring.

The Basic natural duvet provides similar benefits with its 250 g/m2 layer. This duvet provides plenty of warmth without your ever feeling too hot. This is a model that's been designed for places with milder winters or coolish summers. The basic natural duvet is suitable for room temperatures of around 22ºC. So this quilt will satisfy your need for warmth in winter as well as cooler temperatures in the warmer areas of the EU.

Both duvets are made from the best materials offering a comfortable, soft feel. The outer cover of the duvets is made from unbleached organic cotton. Therefore, they have a raw, white colour that'll give a more natural feel to your bedroom.

How to wash the Kipli duvets

In order to maximise the lifespan of our Kipli duvets, it is important to take good care of them. They have been designed to be machine washed at 30°C on a "delicates" cyle. You should use a detergent that's specifically for delicate fabrics. In order to dry the duvets, we would recommend hanging them outside. If this isn't possible, then they can be put in the dryer on a medium cycle at a maximum temperature of 60ºC.

Additional recommendations for natural duvets is that they shouldn't be ironed and no bleaching products such as chlorine or corrosive products such as bleach should be used. A professional dry cleaner should also be able to wash your duvet correctly which will help to ensure the continued good quality of your duvet.

The advantages of buying from Kipli

Our product range of natural duvets comes with a 2 year warranty against any manufacturing defects. In addition to this, we also offer free delivery. Your duvet will be delivered in a cardboard box and the estimated delivery time is 10 to 15 working days. With regard to payment, we're also happy to offer the option of credit card payment in 3 interest free instalments.
